Ingredients:
1 kg ground turkey (I prefer dark meat for burgers)
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 or 3 small nectarines, finely diced (organic)
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, finely diced
(in Israel go to Spices and buy the fresh sundried cherry tomatoes in olive oil - yum!)
handful of cilantro finely chopped
1 tbsp dried ground coriander
freshly ground sea salt and pepper to taste (~2 tbsp)
Optional:
Add if you can eat eggs and if you feel you need a binder.
1 egg
1/2 cup ground rice puff cereal (in place of breadcrumbs)
Method:
Sautee onions until tender.
In large mixing bowl place ground turkey and all ingredients including onions.
Mix thoroughly by hand.
Shape into burgers of whatever size you wish (I prefer small ones).
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Place on a preheated, lightly oiled grill. Grill each side for 5-7 minutes until meat is thoroughly cooked. Do not overcook.
Enjoy!
